Students' Code of Conduct

A code of conduct is very much essential for the smooth functioning  of any system.  Even in our “Gurukula” system there was a routine and the disciples followed certain rules and regulations set by the guru. We believe that  a good behaviour  leads to a good working environment where children can reach their full potential, develop independence and foster self esteem.

  • Students are expected to abide by the rules and regulations set by the school and maintain an orderly environment.
  • Students must respect the position any person in authority, be they the MD, HRM, Principals, HM, teachers, non-teaching staff, prefects or visitors.
  • Every body is expected to use polite language and speak only in English while in the school campus.
  • Any form of bullying, ragging etc. will not be tolerated and will be dealt with appropriately.
  • Students should attend assemblies, all lessons, activities, clubs and meetings punctually and excuse themselves officially for which they are absent.
  • Damage done to school property is subject to imposition of fine / cost of repairing of the damaged material.
  • Late arrival of students will be strictly dealt with. The measures include warning, fine, summoning parents etc.
  • All home works must be completed and handed in on time.
  • Offensive weapons, fireworks, knives, sharp objects etc. are forbidden in the school
  • Cell phones, i-pods, electronic games, CDs, floppies etc. will be confiscated if found with students.
  • Aerated drinks, chewing gum, cigarettes, alcohol etc. are banned in the school.
  • Expensive items should not be brought in to school as they encourage theft.
  • Uniform must be correctly and neatly followed in accordance with the place, day or occasion for which they are present.
  • Students should not wear jewelry or other accessories. Only religious pendants or ear studs are allowed.
  • Take proper care of your belongings as well as school property.
  • Display true competitive spirit in any type of competition conducted in the school. Besides, students must never indulge in  any act which endangers security to themselves or others.
  • Students can leave the campus  only after the session. In case of emergencies, an out pass will be issued by the school authorities and the same will be informed to the parents.
  • Prior permission must be obtained for any leave taking. Parents will be summoned if a child is absent for more than 2 days. A leave letter [signed by the parent] must be submitted to the class teacher for any leave taking.
